Might be the new math they're teachin' these days, but I see three

Kevin, you might need glasses because there's four greenies (Cumberland) on that map. lol Either way, we need some serious rain badly. I'm hearing we might get just that next week. I'm praying!

Turns out we're all correct. I couldn't figure out how I missed the fourth green dot on my computer, but it showed up so visibly on my phone; however, tonight I realized the graphic that is linked updates (duh!) so it will change on this thread as time goes by. There are a few more 25th and higher percentiles today than the middle of last week.

Regardless of graphs, after fishing a stream Saturday morning, and seeing it in relatively bad shape, with fish searching for pools, I'm really glad we're getting this soaker. Its just what we need to help bring things back a little bit.

Well, did you guys get the snow they were calling for?

It didn't do much of anything over around Pymatuning.

Woke up Saturday morning to find the deck was wet. It did kind of drizzle all day Saturday. Just wet enough to make it miserable had I chosen to work outside that day. All in all, the garden got enough to soak the soil.

Sunday it was about 41F but not doing much of anything.
In all I spent about 4 hours outside yesterday afternoon and my coat was still dry.

Hell, the sun came out a few times.

I think they weren't supposed to get much overnight. Mostly today and into tomorrow, and the radar shows them getting hit as we speak. My guess is that it's a lot of snow falling but it won't stick all that well to the unfrozen ground. Depth of a couple of inches at best, mostly on grassy areas. Roads will stay mostly clear. Biggest danger is trees. It will probably stick on those, and with leaves on, they'll get heavy and lots of downed limbs. Could cause power outages too.

Down this way, was never supposed to snow. We got quite a bit of rain and very strong sustained winds. Trees were bent over when I went to bed last night. This morning it has faded to a drizzle, streams are very high, but not flood stage.

Gauges showing rising water pretty much everywhere, but still well below normal everywhere except the eastern third of the state. Will be interesting to see how high they go. But I don't think they got nearly as much precipitation west of the Susquehanna. Yet, anyway. It's still coming down.

All depends on elevation, my house nothing sticking overnight. 5 min. down the road they had 5" by morning. Did snow all night though.

I had an inch or two at my home this morning near Greensburg. My brother lives on the Chestnut Ridge near Donegal and he is without power and had 4+ inches already this morning. It could get interesting in the Laurel Highlands...

Be careful what you wish for.
I had a week's vacation planned for the West Branch Delaware starting this Wednesday and they are calling for 3 inches of rain in the next day and a half. I knew it would all even out.
Go figure that it would happen on my fishing vacation.
Any ideas on where to go now?
Maybe surf fishing?

For April we have a total rainfall of 2.92 and May so far 1.47 inches, we need the rain we're getting in the SE we're way behind for the year.
If there's one thing I've learned over the years that the Weather Channel's been on cable it's, if the forecast isn't for more than a 90% chance of rain, we're probably not getting much rain.
But it's been raining lightly most of the day and tonight so we'll get a decent amount for today. Maybe a cathup.

Tom just my experience from last Mondays rain and fishing this past Saturday, it will be high. Add that the water was lower of beginning of last week then this week and it might not be too good. Then again I have only fished it two times in my life, so I do not know it all that well.
