Last tuesday while I was talking to Greg Hoover, I showed him the tattoo of Roger Plourde's America on my arm. When I saw him again on Thursday he asked me for my mailing address. I received this in the mail today:

Greg emailed Roger, he liked my story so he sent me his piece of artwork.

What a Guy. I couldn't thank him enough.

What a great story!

Thanks for sharing this with us - some true holiday cheer.

As is widely known, Prof Hoover is a gentleman and top shelf fella (and, like Marioo66pens he's obviously a patriot too).

That is very cool, extremely awesome gift. I knew Greg was nice but this just shows how much, and Roger as well. You know I appreciate all of your time given to this fine country...

Thanks all. Roger I always feel guilty when getting thanked by a vietnam vet, you guys deserve the thank you.

Jack, we need to arrange a tying session soon.

Although I have never met Greg. I had the pleasure of growing up with his brother Todd's kids. Todd is a harrisburg court judge. These are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I have often had discussions with Todd about Greg while fishing stony behind Todd's house.

Excellent people and an even better gift. As others said thank you for your service.
