has anyone ever purchased anything from this website. i ordered a reel and some line on friday. after putting in my billing/shipping address i was expecting to enter the credit card number but instead it said
"Thank you for shopping with The Angler\'s Roost. We will be in touch with you about this order as soon as possible. Please note: you will receive a PayPal invoice regarding this order, but you can also pay via check or money order. Please email jksanglersroost@aol.com to arrange for alternate payment." i might not get my new line until summer time... just thought i would see if anyone has ordered anything from johnny kuehn with success.

i just got an e-mail this morning with a link to paypal where you can pay with a credit card.
i have no clue why the pay pal page did not show up when you click purchase and you have to wait 3 days for an e-mail with a paypal link. oh well, it is what is.

There are good and bad ways to design a website and when some people do it from scratch then you have glitches like that. There's lots of platforms out there to build a site and have it be directly linked to different pay options and are also very user friendly. But hey, what do I know about this kind of stuff....

I have bought from them as well. Same thing happened to me and I was lost. But once you pay they do ship fast and the customer service I had was great. Their bamboo is decent as well. Not the best but good enough for the price.

yea, once i saw he had an ebay store i felt relieved. definitely not trying to cut him down just seemed a bit unconventional on the ordering process. should get my reel soon and hopefully it gets a workout this year.

I personally do not mind this type of business transaction as long as the seller is quick to reply. I think it could help clarify things and get you exactly what you want.

yeah he does all his business through paypal, great prices, but his shipping is astronomical. oh and will not well to you in person, tried that, and was rudely told no.

well i finally got my reel. can't wait to try it out on the tully on friday. this guy has some good stuff and i would recommend him now. takes a little longer to get the goods but worth the wait.
