I saw Red Quill ( Male Hendrickson) spinners off my back deck just last evening! They are REALLY early.

I just had the pleasure of digging a tick out of the hip of my four year old daughter. My yard must be full of them - she got it walking from the house to the swingset and back. Two weekends ago I picked 4 of them off me after liming the yard.
All the guinea hens we have around us must not be doing their job real well.
