With the button , you get no paper license? It is in place of the Paper?

You must buy your paper license first, then you can buy the button as an alternate license display.

Another thing.. (which Mike probably won't like) is that I NEVER display my license. Every time I do I seem to lose it while bushwacking. However, I've never been asked for it in the past 2 years either. The button will fit nicely on my slingbag. I might superglue it closed so there's no way it escapes.

I just got my button, along with this notice. Anybody else get this notice?

I got the same notice with my pin. Must have been a serious mail merge issue.

Now my fishing hat has some flair.

Maybe there was an error with the error on the mail merge, resulting in many people receiving the error message by error?

Wonder what the return rate on the erroneous buttons will be..

I like the fact that the button is more durable. After all, we are dealing with water and a paper license (albeit a paper license with a protective glossy finish and a plastic sleeve.) Still, I think that the button is only useful if it allows you to leave the paper license at home. Why the need to carry both? I do not mind the additional $5 donation to the PFBC as long as they use the money for good conservation efforts. It can be hard to see how your money is properly spent when the government is involved.

I'm boycotting buttons until they offer a stamp and retro license option.

I just recieved the "incorrect" button they mentioned and sent it back with the provided postage. The packet had my address, but somebody else's name on it. Strange.

I think the nostalgia of the button is cool but I would really like to see the artwork on the trout stamp return. That was way better than a mugshot button. I say this as I am ordering my button...
