Went out this morning and had a pretty good day actually. caught the rainbow in the picture at Pine Creek by the rod and gun club. Actually was nymphing near the fallen tree in the other picture and was doing pretty well. Ended up going to the tulpy to close out the day and caught my first trout on a dry fly. Damn thing came out of nowhere and bam. Caught one on a 20 midge and ended up catching one more on a caddis and almost a third!!
Successful day except my casting is still a little weak, I lost 2 flies (one to a sucker fish..??) and only one tangle which was managable. I am lookin forward to trying the LL next Saturday after the day I had today!! Tulpy still very low, although the fish are hungry.
