First Jam for me this year. Was wondering what flies and sizes to make sure to bring. Thanks Norm

Sulphers for spring creek. Don't worry about any other stream, they'll all be blown out.

Ha! Yeah, sulphurs are always a good bet for Spring that time of the year. Bring basic nymph patterns such as pheasant tails, hare's hear, etc.

A lot of it depends on where you'll be fishing. Can't go wrong with some wooly buggers as well.

mayflies - Sulphers everywhere in abundance, green drakes in some locations (Penns/BFC). Perhaps blue quills and light cahills. March Browns are a possibility, but likely to be done by then, but perhaps on the smaller, cooler waters.

Caddis - tan and green abdomen.

All of the above in all life stages. Add streamers/sculpins and some big stonefly nymphs, maybe some terrestrials. That should do it.

If your going to Spring creek it would be good to have some tan & olive shrimp patterns 12 and 14, 16's as well if you've got time to tie em.
