Penns fished well earlier in the spring with the low water levels but it has been blown out before and since the GDs hatched, and it's back over it's banks with more downpours right now. I'm sure some guys that stuck to it got some decent fishing with drakes, but for the most part, it was pretty tough with the high, off-colored water. Tough break for Jonas at the Feathered Hook with Penns being blown out at prime time for two seasons in a row.

My GD fishing this year was very limited due to the high water. Didn't fish the hatch at all and fished the spinners two evenings. Did well the first evening and got skunked the second evening. It seemed like the fish were just swatting at the flies and I couldn't hook them.

Some of my friends who stuck with it did well fishing along the banks of the high muddy waters.

Poe Paddy was good when I was there from 5/20 - 21. The water was right at the limit for safe wading IMO, but fishing the edges was productive both at night and during the day. Monday (5/21) was cloudy with drizzle / showers / rain and there was a steady stream of Drakes popping off all day. The trout spent pretty much the whole day looking up, which is nice!

My GD fishing was great, but I don't get motivated to fish Penns, so I don't fish it, but everywhere else I met GD's the fishing was great.

I was there Friday night for work and it rained close to 5 inches, according to others, we were at the boy scout camp down by Laurelton. It was pushing banks and beginning to rain again when I left Sunday around noon.

I don't know about Penns, but Fishing creek had awesome hatches this year. No fish for me to speak of, but friends caught a few on duns and spinners.

The fishing for Green Drakes for me was good but after the jam and not on the Penn.
I have tie first time my own G Drakes (they worked on the first cast).
Awesome.
