This isn't what most people probably thought I meant with the title but I haven't gotten out much in the last month for multiple reasons.....but I'm getting to go sunday. Trying to decide between Spring Creek or BFC.

Really interested in a recent report of the Tricos on Spring Creek. I have heard some say that it has been a great hatch this year and some say it hasn't.

Thanks for the help.

teager,
If I were free Sunday, I'd fish Tricos on Spring Creek. Then, when they are done, I'd drive over to BFC and fish Terresterials along the banks. Then you have all your bases covered! Good Luck and if you do get the "other" kind of "Lucky", don't post it in the stream reports! ;)

I haven't fished tricos on spring creek yet this year. But they have seemed to be rather spotty there the last 3-4 years.
If you don't see any on one particular hole, I would move around until you (hopefully) find some.

Spring creek is also a nice place to fish terrestials too - no need to run over to fishing creek just to do that

I do believe the Narrows section is closed Sundays during the summer or whenever someone is in the cabin.

The only portion of the Narrows section of BFC that is closed to public fishing on Sundays is specifically the "cabin water." All the PFBC and PGC held water is open 7 days a week.
