Decided to start a thread of things that we all enjoy seeing... FISH. These are all from 2013. Since I know nobody likes "spot burning" I'll leave out the names of the streams these came from. Although, they are all within 45 mins of our states capitol. All are well known streams as well. Because of the file size, i had to use links to photobucket. Decided to leave out the pics of the stockies, as they tend not to have the individual characteristics their wild cousins do. I'm starting to feel an obsession for the areas wild brownies. If I can fool a wild 'bow by the end of the month, I've hit the trifecta of our states wild trout. Can't seem to find a streambred 'bow. Maybe a trip to big spring is in order.... None of these are monsters, but some are the kings of their own little world. Looking forward to the pics to come from everyone that chooses to participate.

I 'm pretty sure the wrists are all stocked. :)

Yea but, if he was born in Pa. wouldn't that make his wrist a native?
Nice pics btw.

Lol thanks. I'd have to disagree and say non-native. The wrist originated from Ireland, and was planted in Northern PA many many years ago. They've now spread to the Harrisburg area, and really seem to be a burden on the local trout, leaving them with sore lips.

Definitely wild though, notice the bright orange band that runs along the bottom of the wrist where it meets the forearm.

it might just be the ripples on the water, but that fish looks like a tiger to me...

None of those are tigers. All are beautiful, though!

A friend from Mechanicsburg tells me there are occasionall wild bows in the Breeches , he wasn't real specific about where though so this shouldn't make anyone angry.......i hope you got that trifecta by now........GOOD LUCK!!!!
