i am troutless on the year so far but only been out once but i did catch a nice carp in spring creek on new years day the fishing outlook for 2011 looks bleak i may only get to fish opening week and a few days at the jam this year as ill be house hunting and helping to plan a wedding and maybe one weekend ill make it out east to fish with ed gene jason and becker

Yes, you must make a trip out here and stay a night or two.

Good Luck with the house stuff, and If you were smart you would just let the wife make all the decisions on the wedding and give her the nod of approval for whatever she wants.

Jay, I'm sure you do. It was a slow day, maybe due to some snow melt... but it was nice to be out. Looking at the tracks, I was the second to fish that stretch after the big snow. Wish I could have been there a day sooner, but had to work.
