I would love to try and make it up there. I have done a lot of steel fishing in Pulaski but would love to give Erie a try. When all of you LV guys start making plans let me know. I would like to try to get in on the car pool.

Count me in. I have been waiting for this thread. I would be interested in car pooling. I have a suburban, Can take 3 with me, maybe we can get a Reading crew together.

I would be interested in going up on Wednesday or Thursday if that works for anyone.

Please pick the date by Sept 15 so I can block my referee schedule so I don't have games that weekend.

Thanks

Rick Purnell

I think I'll keep the voting up till the end of the month. Once that time comes we'll pick a date and I'll finalize the plans. Thanks everyone so far for your input. Looks to be another good turnout this year.

I don't see any dates,what are they?
I'm from the LV and have extensive experience on the Erie tribs, might be able to help some newbies out if I can make the dates.

At the very top of the page you should be able to vote for one of the 3 dates.

I thought the water was low locally, looks like trees are growing where there should be water.
I'm ready for a few tropical storms,I thought this was going to be a active hurricane year according to the "experts".

the video won't open for me so I can't see the level.

We did have pretty good rain the other day, but I can't remember which day. Saturday night and half of Sunday maybe?

The headwaters of elk usually get what I get.

The rain did not help at all still very very very low. Down to a trickle in some spots. Need some rain and cooler temps or it will be another poor year.

It's still early in the hurricane season. If we get some in the gulf they may make it to WPa.The heat engine is in full swing and there are still 3 and a half months left,3 till the nov 12 14 dates .Hang on the rains will come.Hope the big one stays away.GG

That's how Elk Creek, looks in the Summer. If its any consolation, Walnut usually looks worse, although I suppose that if the Casino is discharging to it (I don't know for sure one way or the other, but its right on the creek), Walnut might also have a head of foam...

There just isn't enough spring recharge to either to maintain much of a flow.
