Double sided fly box for first day and flies to fill it |

Finally got my cabelas waterproof double sided fly box. Here is what it will be filled with for the first day
SIDE 1 (NYMPHS SIZE 8 TO 16 BEADHEAD AND TRADITIONAL) -pheasant tail -hares ear -red squirrel -grey squirrel -brown ribbed caddis -red ribbed caddis -green ribbed caddis -walts worm -prince -copper john -custom created nymphs SIDE TWO (STREAMER AND CHEATER FLIES ) -white wooly bugger -black pearl wooly bugger -olive wooly bugger -dark olive wooly bugger -pink egg flies -brown san juan worm -pink san juan worm -green sucker spawn -white sucker spawn -pink sucker spawn -pink weenie -green weenie -beaded waxworm fly -beaded meal worm fly -white marabou jig -pink marabou jig -black marabou jig -clouser minnow -skulpin -custom streamers. any thoughts on what else besides the kitchen sink i should toss in?

First day isn't all that complicated if you're just fishing for stockies. Wooly buggers and junk flies will catch fish all day.

Don't forget a Pickett Pin and a Muddler Minnow as a sculpin ,too. Have a great season , Mike....Finn

where's the dry flies? bugs have been hatching like crazy everywhere and trout have been eating them!

I am not good at tying dries so i normally stick to under the water. I get as much excitement watching the indicator slam up stream as i do watching them gulping.
I will tie some sorry excuse for hendrickson and red quills as well as march brown. That is my focus for 2012 is getting better at tying them. I have good quality necks and used to tie them well but i started getting really good at nymphing and never turned back. :)
