Hey frederick, guess what i found, a perfect little stream with huge carp crawling throughout the whole thing :p. Now with that said, Anyone have any tips for gettin em to take. Whats the go to fly. Also it seems they spoooook reallllly easily. i was just walking on the bank a good bit far from them as you can see in the videoand they already start cruising around, how am i supposed to get in position to even fish.

I've hooked monsters on PT nymphs, globugs, and buggers.

Clouser crayfish too!
 
Thats the easy part is finding them the hard part is finding a nice spot were you can find them mudding and be able to sneak up on them enough to get a fly in front of them and not shoot a sloppy cast . Use big nymphs and small crawfish paterns :-D
 
Have you seen Ian Colin James' website? Chock full of carping tips, and he's very funny! He uses a modified steelhead nymph -- something like a steelhead flashback, very interesting. He calls it a "muncher nymph." -- Ian is known in carping circles as "the carpfather."

I used to live in phila, and there were plenty of murky, carpy waters there. -- Do you fellas have any suggestions for other parts of the state?
