Treated my waders with a 10% bleach water solution as I've read to do after fishing a stream with a healthy crop of Didymo. I let them and my boots soak for about 5 minutes and found that the bleach discolored my waders. Wanted to see if this has happened to anyone else and to see if I should be worried that the bleach will damage the waders. Hopefully not because I wouldn't be able to afford to buy new ones leaving me sweating in neoprene waders until summer wet wading season.

I have not used the bleach method for fear of it degrading my waders. I would recommend the salt solution method in the future. Just as effective but less harmful to your waders. (It's a 5% salt solution for a minute.)
