look like they were out west at the end but early in the video looked a lot like spruce. Guess you could go to their site and see if it says.

I vaguely recall being in the shop and Bob Jr. saying the family business started out with trout. In interviews Bob Sr. has talked about when he was a kid following around Shenk and those guys trying to learn whatever he could.

With the decline of the smallmouth fishery and guiding maybe he is trying to get more trout business.

I once met Clouser on a trout stream, and he seemed every bit a gentleman and fine person. I hope to high heaven that he has not somehow become affiliated with the empire. I think that would be horrible.

If you read this months Mid-Atlantic Bob has a article and the title is Paid fishing is it for you . In the article Bob even says what private waters he fishes and what they offer the angler . Not sure if any of them belong to the Beav though .

Bob and his family are great people, I to hope he hasn't hooked up with the Beav. I remember him telling me years ago, one of his favorite streams in Pa. was, Yellow Creek in Bedford Co. Some of those pics look like Yellow Creek!

Donny Beaver - owner of the infamous Spring Ridge Club, or whatever they're calling it this week. Did you ever hear about the court battle concerning the Little Juniata River? That was Beavis in action. He's the "Great Conservationist" - "protecting" wild trout streams from the unwashed masses, so the filthy rich can go catch pellet hogs, get their picture taken, and hang it on the wall like they actually know how to fish.

BTW - he's up in Erie too....

the infamous Donny Beaver...who is buying up prime stream real estate and turning it into big $ pay per fishing. He was the center of controversy in the LJ navigability court case.
