I think troutbert is right.
FWIW, I like to carry a small, white plastic lid or container in my vest. If I see a bug I want to photograph, I'll place 'em on this plastic - makes 'em easy to see, esp if they're just submerged under water which allows their body parts to fan out naturally and be more visible.

To thin in the abdomen for MB. Thorax is on the slim side also. MB's are on the small side yet, 2 1/2 months to go and a few instars to molt yet.
