has anyone tried the wild water fly rods?
lookin maybe to get a salt 10 wt

I have the 10wt. Haven't fished it yet. It's as cheap of a fly rod as I've ever seen. But for like $40, and lifetime guarantee, I figure if I break it, I break it. Just looking to sling some lead and big flies for salmon this year. I'm sure I'll upgrade it eventually.

have you casted it? is it fast?

I have the AX series (very cheap). The other ones don't look too bad, but I'd take a guess that they're just the same blank with better seats and guides. Might be a good starter, but def not a rod you want to put a lot of stock into.

It's a broom stick. Very stiff and I wouldn't expect it to perform as good as a higher priced rod. Like I said, for $40ish bucks, you get what you pay for.

That said, I'll fish it and post a report in the fall.
