As a general rule for me - anything bought second hand should be half what it is new - anything lower is a good deal.

8 ft., 6 wt, 2/2, 4 1/4 oz., nice original Battenkill made in the 1960s, aluminum downlocking reel seat over a walnut spacer, Orvis brown wraps, blued nickel silver ferrules, bright guides, originally marked on the tube for a DT7 but as is the case with most Orvis rods of this era, they like a line lighter, only condition issue of note is about an inch of the front end of the grip has some ridging, comes with original bag and original labeled tube.
