I have switched to a fishpond chest pack i use like a sling pack. Problem is the net, if i want to use one. There is no place to hang one. Has any one solved this problem yet. If i hang it on the bag it drags in the water.

Wear a wading belt and stick the net in handle handle first. Takes some getting use to but works.

Or get a fishing shirt with a "fag tag" on the back and use a net magnet to attach your net to that.
