Man, I could have given you $20 for that reel and saved some Ebay shopping!
 Just put a 1494 on my Eagle Claw rod...

That is a pretty good pic! I have one too. have is set up for left hand retrieve for my lefty grandson. For an 8 year old he's a natural. throws darn near perfect loops. In spite of me teaching him.....

Really good idea, like it. One suggestion, put a hook in the wall at the middle of the rod to help support it. Can you open the curtain with the reel?
