Anyone have a suggestion? I've got a Three Forks that i like, but I'd like to try something a little quicker to tighten up my loops. I'm not opposed to building a blank over the winter, either. Of course, I haven't tried a 2 weight line on it yet.

I knew that was coming. I don't think I'll be able to go for a Winston or Sage, and don't think I could justify it for myself.

Allen ATS 7'3" 2/3wt for under $160.00. It's fast. Too fast for me, but that doesn't mean much!

I already knew your answer, Squatch. You're still using the glass, though. Maybe I can try yours out next year, on another excursion.

PM coming

Trident,
Thanks for the suggestion, but your add specifically says MEDIUM action.

LL Bean Streamlight Ultra

Check out the St. Croix Imperial. The imperial is fast action, they don't make a 7' 6" 3 wt, but they do have a 7' 3 wt.

The 7' 3 weight imperial is a sweet rod, love mine.

Get a MHX kit from mudhole.com. Great action, great value, great warranty.

St. Croix imperial. or a 8' 3wt bvk

Orvis access or clearwater both excellent rods
