I picked up a 7' 4/5 when they were on sale for $74.99. Got a chance to use it for the first time yesterday and really liked the feel of it.

oh darn,i saw this too late. congratulations on what appears to be a pretty good rod at a pretty good price!

I AGREE THAT one could find a vintage rod for cheap,BUT,then you also often run into repairs etc,so this seems really worth it!

Dang well the rods are on sale again... I can't believe they went on sale less then a week after I bought mine! Anyways if anyone wants one you better get them while they are still $75. I think I might even get another

I just picked up a cabelas glass combo with reel and line. It was a nice deal 150 for everything. I also want to say I received the rod and reel in the mail without the line. I called cabelas at 10 on wendand they shipped over night. I got the 3 weight for smaller streams. I will say you could cast this rod about 40 feet, and it can roll cast better then most other rods I have fished. I got it out on a local wild stream and put it to good use.
