Luv this fly, its the steelhead Hammer by Orvis. I am trying to identify the body and wing case. Thought it might be antron yarn in a weave. Any guesses

Body looks woven to me. And it looks like the black is used for the wing case. Maybe yarn or floss.

body and wing case are Z-lon. or you could use diamond braid. An easier version is to wrap the body with kreinik braid (diamond) and use a marker for top stripe.

i was thinking z-lon for the body too, but the wingcase looks like either black turkey tail or pheasant tail fibers,.

wingcase is the black z-lon not feathers, I have tied these before.
