What is a cree

I'm not sure what a cree is and I have seen it mentioned on a few flies . thanks for any help

Cree hackle is a genetic cross that produces a darker center(near the stem) and a lighter outter edge on the barbules.

Its expensive. You can get away with mixing a cream and brown hackle as a substitute.
