I tied some extended bodies last year for the hatch on Penns and was really excited to fish them. For whatever reason all the fish I caught were on traditional patterns. I dunno if it was a confidence issue, but I was really bummed. Extended bodies look so cool!

RedRock- I've tried the extended bodies but haven't gotten them right yet. Can you give us a materials list? Especially the foam, I haven't been able to find the right color stuff. The hackle looks parachute style, is that correct?
All - have any of you had trouble with teh big wings on these causing spin?

I just used foam from a craft store and the hackle is tied parachute style. White foam for the coffin flies and cream or light yellow for the drakes.
