I'd check on weather they are even legal, I don't know just asking the question.

they are legal. if it is leagal to shoot them during an open waterfowl season ANYWHERE in the world, it is legal to use thier feathers to whatever craft you wish to utalize them. i dont know how you could even tell or prove that they were from a redhead anyway.
