New vise and ties

I got the anvil apex, and I'm in love.
What an upgrade from the starter kit vise.
Anyways the talk of glass beads had me thinking too so I tied a few soft hackles with them.

I've been thinking of upgrading my vice as well and the Apex is on my list of potentials.

I have that vise. I really like it. Have used it for more than 10 years. I was in Bass Pro this past summer toying with the idea of getting a new (Peak vise). The guy at the counter told me that my Anvil was a very good vise. I didn't spend the $150 for a new vise. That's an extra $150 I then had to spend on material and other fishin stuff. Enjoy it.
