Found out today the Lightning Bug fly is pretty good on the LL.
Size #14 -#16 nymph hook
1/8 silver bead
orange thead
silver tinsel
copper wire
orange chenile
pheasant feather fibers for tail
Put the bead on first and put in vise. put a good thread base down and tie in the pheasant feather fibers for a tail. when you get to the bend of the hook tie in 3inches of light copper wire and then 3 inches of tinsel. wrap the thread back to the front. wrap the tinsel to the front. tie in and trim. wrap copper wire to the front and tie in and trim. tie in the orange chenile behind the make 3 wraps tie in and whip finish.
