I have been tying today and figured I would share. I picked up a few materials from over seas to try out. I am really happy with them.

Here is a few dry.

Pretty cool, eh? Photo's are not the best I apologize. The translucency is really nice and gives you endless opportunities.

Now this one I call the Stocky Killer

Here it is under a UV light in the water. I mean obviously this is how trout would see it. UV light FTW!

As you can see the dubbing really holds some bubbles. I moved them around and popped the really big air bubbles they trapped, so I could take the picture.

Anyway, I figured I would share. If you are interested in the materials, shoot me a PM. I would be happy to share.

Very nice ties.

You need to do use different hooks and the color of the beadheads are all wrong. No, they are nice ties in all seriousness. I have had some good days fishing patterns very similar to those.

For some reason the terminology stockie killer rings a bell like i've heard it before but i could be wrong.

Thanks Jack!

Hooks are T.L. and thank you NickR. You are my buddy for such a nice compliment.

Shane clearly stole this pattern. I know he could never have created this. Stockie killer, huh? Now that you mention it.

Nice looking flies...by the look of the body's when wet, I'd sat cat gut. Keep up the nice ties.

This is correct! However, for bonus points. What is the dubbing? It is mixed with cdc for the air bubble capabilities.

They look cool Shane, really nice effect when wet.

Looks a bit like this, which is a great fly.

Man cdc was the easy one, ha. If I had to guess I'd say antron but it's tough to see. Nice ties.

johnny utah custom blend?

Thanks for making me spit out my drink. I will give a hint.....this animal is wild in Romania.

What did you use for the body? I cant tell if it is twisted antron at second and third glance or some kind of tubing?

Cat gut

becker:
those hooks arent clearly snelled enough for snagging so i guess its back to the drawing board? haha those kinda look like a sharks caddis

Yea I know!

I feel these are a lot easier then the Sharks pattern because there is no twisting of antron and dubbing.

Ha
I know what it is.
Will see if anyone guess it right.
For sure this is difficult one.
