Nice flies, sandfly. Black and orange Clousers with copper flash I'm sure you know this as well as black and red, i see you already have white Clousers which is good, Deceivers as well in those colors. Ive said this before but the Orvis rattle shrimp has done the best for me the last couple years and I've been fishing down there for a while. So maybe ty some Clousers with rattle eyes too? just a thought

already put the eyes on after the pics. and tying kirks rattle rouser as a shrimp pattern in orange / black. makes a nice shrimpy sound. tying a few small pinfish as well. did you ever put one of those shrimps behind a popper ??

When do you leave for the trip? I only wonder because we are planning a trip there and I would love to know more about the fishing, especially if it's in August versus the fall.

Sandfly sounds good im sure they will do well, Never have tried them behind a popper will have to try that sounds like a great idea
