Frenchie nymph

Here's a video with my version of Lance Egan's Frenchie. This is a great pattern, though I varied it with the addition of a jig nymph. That change will help with less snags, being that this is a heavily-weighted fly. The disco bead is a fun touch that gives this fly a nice finished look.

Great video as always. I first started fishing/tying Frenchies last spring and haven't looked back. They're definitely fish catchers! I like extra hot spot near the tail, gonna have to give it a try.
