a fly as a gift

Just finished tying this one up, it's an Easter gift for the girlfriend...she's always told me she liked how "pretty" my hairwing steelhead flies are, so I made this one up as a step up from them, kind of a "free-style" hairwing salmon fly. What do you think?

well, it went over well, so well in fact that I ended up having to whip up two more, one will soon be on the wall in a shadowbox, the other two have had beads soldered over the points and are now a pair of earrings (her idea...)

great job!! i tye a lot of earrings BTW. i make them on silver wire that i shape in a spiral.then i tye them in a vise like any other fly.
