State College

I am going to be in State College tomorrow afternoon. I was planning on fishing Spring creek Wed. and possibly Penns on Thursday.
I've fished SC a few times before, but it was always in late Dec. early Jan. so I'm pretty clueless about this time of year.
I was wondering if there are any locals on the forum that have any tips or would like to show me the ropes. Thanks.

Stop into TCO or Fly Fishers Paradise for flies and advice.

I fished Spring below The Paradise yesterday did quite well from daylight until about 8:00 on nymphs ( scuds small pheasant tails zebra midge anything small) From 8:30 - 11:00 got a few on ants and adams 18 right aganist the bank.

+1 smaller seems to be better on spring, especially this time of year.
