I'm up at Lake Wallenpaupack with family for New Years so was hoping to hot the Lackawaxen tomorrow. Never fished it so not sure what to expect. The river apparently is stocked with browns, brooks and rainbows but apps has its fair share of wilds that make it in from the Delaware. People have even caught stripers apparently.
I'm guessing this time of the year weighted wooly buggers dead drifted would be the ticket? If anyone is looking to get out on the river tomorrow shoot me a PM.
