We had our free kids fishing derby this weekend. Over 140 kids registered. We stocked over 700 trout from 9 to 13 inches. Thanks to the local buisnesses of Portage and surrounding area every kid left with a prize ranging from rod and reel combos, fishing vests, food, and savings bonds. Each kid was also given a ticket for a hotdog and a soda pop.
