Muddy Creek Trout Unlimited is sponsoring a stream clean up along Muddy Creek from Bridgeton to below Woodbine. The fall flood left a great deal of debris along the flood plain of Muddy Creek in York County. We plan to sweep the area clean to beautify our treasured watershed. We'll begin on Sunday April 29th at noon by working below Woodbine and with enough help, we will move to the reach along Owad Road. We will finish the job on Monday April 30th beginning at 9:00am. The planned meeting place is the MCTU Co-op Nursery on Ted Wallace Road. We should arrive at the Woodbine area about a half hour later. You can meet us at either area.
Come out and make a difference toward coldwater conservation and help show the local landowners we care about the watershed. You will also get a chance to take a look at the recent growing Greener project below Woodbine.
Suggested attire includes; boots or waders, jeans and long sleeves.
Youngsters are welcome to participate with parental supervision. (this is a good opportunity for commmunity service projects)
Water will be provided for refreshment.
