I take it a step farther. Pretty much use the same reel on all of my graphite sticks. Different spools loaded with different weight lines.

Just make sure you have some sort of labeling system to keep track of them. I hate looking at a stack fo 3 or 4 spools and saying "ok, which one was the 5 wt line?"
