On your page "Ask Us About Private Mountain Stream Fishing," are the streams you allude to open to public fishing or actually private property? I was slightly confused. Anyway, nice website and best of luck.

Good question. We guide on all public water except for a 2.3 mile section of a small mountain stream which is completely on private property. The stream is a small and somewhat remote piece of brookie stream. It is 100% wild trout and no stocking has occured since the late 1980's. We have partnered with the land owners on a private project to see what this stream could be if self imposed catch and release restrictions and limited fishing pressure was put into action. Access can still be gained by the public with permission from the owners. The c and r rules, along with barbless hooks apply to all. This has always been private property and was recently posted due to the bad actions of a few. It's our hope to help preserve and protect this small gem from more misuse and future stocking attempts.
