The January 2014 Meeting will feature nationally renowned fly fishing personality George Daniel.

This Event is free and open to the public. A short business meeting will start off the event. Room location will be posted once that is nailed down.

George Bio:
George Daniel - Coach Fly Fishing Team USA INC
George Daniel began fly fishing at age 6 while growing up in Potter County, PA and credits Joe Humphreys for the bulk of his knowledge along with many national and international fly fishing professionals.

George is a two-time US National Fly Fishing Champion and has returned as captain for Fly Fishing Team USA. He is also the manager at the TCO Fly Shop, State College PA.

George’s passion is in fly fishing education, where he conducts lectures/seminars throughout the country. He logs over 200 days a year on trout waters near and far. George is the author of the best selling book, “Dynamic Nymphing” along with being published in Fly Fisherman and Fly Tyer magazines. George currently resides in Lamar, PA with his wife, Amidea and their two children.

If you have the opportunity I highly recommend seeing George's presentation. He did this presentation for my chapter, Doc Fritchey TU, and it was very informative.

George is a great guy and his style is inforamtive but understandable and engaging.
