Nice. I'm notorious for marathon floats. . Ask anyone that fished, I mean rowed with me.

Andy your floats are hell... too damn long. Just remember sunscreen if you float with this guy. A couple years ago i forgot my sunscreen on a marathon float... was ready to cut holes in my socks and wear them on my arms. That was painful.

Had a great Saturday float. Only two fish to hand, but they were marvelous fish and they took dries.

Hey Greg,

The D can be a very humbling river, but it sounds like you had a great time. What section did you guys fish?

Well, it's MIGHTY low up here. Not only is there no water, every angler in the tri-state area is here. Humbling is and understatement. I had a 400 yard shaded bank FILLED with rising fish and showed them 3 versions caddis emers, 2 egg layers, 2 different bubble back emergers and 2 sizes of rusty spinners. NADA. I was baffled. Fletch took a 19-20" brown. I also got to see 2 different guys take suckers on dries. Hoping for some cloud cover in the next couple of days and/or some water releases. Lots of bugs. On one branch the guys saw sulphurs and we saw march browns on the other river. You'll never believe this....alby stuck some pigs. That guy always gets them!

If the fish are biting, Alby will catch them. It's uncanny and he has no strong prejudice.

Many times, 2-3 fish is a pretty good day on the delaware Greg.

I was there Saturday. The river is low and the sun was definitely shining. It was only my second time fishing the W.Branch so I didn't know what to expect. I was wading.

The early part of the day didn't have much going on. I didn't see many fish rising. Around 4:00 it turned on. There were so many flies on the water. I saw caddis, male and female Hendricksons, and blue quills. I didn't know what the hell these fish were eating. I tried everything and I finally caught an 18 inch brown on a Hendrickson emerger. I think the Hendrickson duns I had were a size too big. I had 14's, but I think the flies were 16's. I hooked two more, but pulled way to hard on the hookup and broke those fish off. I get too damn excited sometimes and pull to hard. I also totally whiffed on a few more. I should have at least had 3 fish, but I am more than happy with the one I caught. I'm a newbie to the Upper Delaware and I know there is a learning curve.

We fished Shehawken to Buckingham Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was the better day with good numbers of Hendrickson and Caddis. I took the fish of a lifetime on a size 14 rusty spinner late in day Saturday.

Bruno, Andrew, Brian, and I had a ball and we got to stop and visit the rest of the PaFlyFish crowd in Hancock Sunday night. Thanks for feeding us!

That is the fish I missed last year on Dave's boat. Thanks for catching him and letting me see what he looks like out of the water!
