after my great day at panther creek i headed to my favorite brookie stream in the area. the water was high but clear. anywhere you could keep your fly down for more than a second or two a fish was had. i lost count. probably 50 fish. all age classes and a few large ones. i got one 12 inch brookie! all came to hand on olive woolly buggers. i have been fishing this stream for about 5 years now.....i have only ever caught brookies. suddenly a large dark figure made way for my fly and the fight was on. i got a 14 inch wild brown! probably one of the most beautiful fish i have ever caught. cant wait to go again!
