Are you saying herons just kill and injure fish for fun? I think most people would agree that killing herons to enhance our own enjoyment as anglers is totally inappropriate and uncalled for. It is not up to as anglers to decide when a predatory species is over-populated, but merely to provide input to the proper agencies on what we see.


Two things: first of all, the sucker in your avatar just freaks me out! Looks like a vacuum cleaner... Second, nice speckled trout that heron is holding in his mouth. I hope to have one of them on the line this summer in the Outer Banks!
