A midge landed on my hand as I rigged up with a tungesten san juan worm and a green egg. Recent snow melt had the stream moving at a nice flow with great clarity. The strikes were subtle but the fish were there.

As I was getting set to depart an officer rounded the corner holding binoculars. He asked how long I was fishing, how I did, and what I was fishing. He then asked for my licenses that I forgot at home. We walked out to my truck, I gave him my I.D. and he called Tennessee to confirm I had a license and trout stamp.
