Didn't have to work today, so I decided to go fishing at my favorite Class A. this stream is normally difficult to fish because of the clear water and the fish seem to spook easier. Normally I don't even see a fish for the first mile and a half of stream. The water level was higher than what I thought, but decided to fish it anyway. Landed 22 (my previous best on this stream was 6). The fish were holding in the slowest marginal water and to hook them I had to keep my fly motionless for about 5 seconds to entice a strike. Only three fish were smaller than 6 inches. Needless to say I was very impressed with today's catch. At one hole I managed atleast 6. Largest fish of the day 9" (missed him 2 times then finally got a good hook set.
