Little Lehigh Creek, FFOCR, Lehigh County 4/13/2014
I was heading to the Allentown area today so I left a few hours early to work in some fishing. I have not fished the Little Lehigh before so I thought I would give it shot. I arrived around 12:45 and was on the water by 1:00. The temperature was upper 60's and mostly sunny. By the time I finished fishing around 4:00, it was close to 80 degrees and the wind was starting to get gusty.
Not many fisherman but the area felt "crowded" with all the other park users, although there were quite a few who were visually distracting in a good way.
I caught 4 fish (3 browns and a rainbow) and missed two others. All was caught on an olive pheasant tail except one. I caught him on a cdc and elk caddis. I only observed a single baetis. I did see a few other fish caught by other anglers so the fish were biting.
It was great to get out and brush off the cobwebs, some literally.

7X makes the small fish feel bigger.
