I fished the LL yesterday from about 9:00am until 2:00pm. I started at the bridge on Mill Race and worked upstream. The first 2-1/2 hrs were slow. I didn't even have 1 strike. Then it picked up and I caught (4) 10"-13" rainbows from just below the red pedestrian bridge to a few hundred feet upstream from it. I didn't see another fisherman the whole time I was there. Feeling lonely, I then went to the LLFS parking lot and started right behind the fly shop. I caught another 11"-12" rainbow in this section and called it a day. All fish were caught on a BH Baetis nymph.

When I stopped in the shop and was talking to the owner, he told me fishing was slow and that most people were not catching anything and what they were catching were brookies. I haven't caught a brookie on that stream in 2 years. Anyone else fishing the LL and catching brookies?
