Water temp was 58 degrees and flow was low in the Carbondale section I fished for an hour this afternoon.

Water temp surprised me with the cold rain we had last night and which started again while I was fishing. As I said, the river level was down and seemed to be closer to mid-summer levels. Water was running clear at 3:00

No luck, but I think the area I was is is just a little too accessible for fishing. Litter is always a problem on the Lackawanna, but from the amount I saw, there have been more than a few "anglers" in the area.
