Fished Fishing Creek in Lamar last Wednesday and today. Both days were productive. Caught mainly browns with only one brookie. The water temp was mid 50s both days. There were beatis, blue quills and 3 types of caddis hatching. Nothing was really taking them off the top. All the fish I caught were on beatis nymphs and copper johns. I think I got 15 or 16 trout between the two days with the biggest about 14". The brookie was about 7" but beautiful. Today was one of the days when it really wouldn't have matter if any fish were caught. It was a georgous day to be along side a woderful stream.
