maiden voyage to erie pa with the machine and crew...

1st stop poor richard bait, nice dude hoked us up and off to walnut creek...

Ummmm... ok i guess the weather is cold... stream froze
from bridge down... couple guys above bridge fishing open water...

I be there.

first cast bam and so on...

landed 6or7 and kinda depressed the machine..

not the kind of water am interested in... sorta like
sportsman show trout pool...

ok rollin west..

elk creek at mouth.... windy but at least it was little bigger water.
flow slow , water cloudy..

forgive the machine but the pin was callin'...
drift, drift, drift...

fished that water hard, dreged it out...

one bite in 3 hours = no fish

machine must go upstream or risk skunko..

headed up stream to next access, fished under a high bridge,
2 fish here and jim caught a huge sucker of some sort, looked like a brown at first... is that common?

fished another hour, the machine will never have cold feet
jim on the other hand froze his feet and hands and as I type
this is moaning in agony in a hotel bathtub....be thawin'

brutal condition for sure....

Dear Honorable Machine,

Change the title of your thread to:

Elk and Walnut Creek, Erie County, Dec 8th

This keeps a nice database of searchable subject lines.

Awesome report. Sounds like you whacked them good. Quite a bit different than 1150 on the Salmon River huh? None of the Salmon River stations have a swap out function that I am aware of, though they have 24 hour turn around time.

salmon river and elk are diff animals...

all good, starded as small stream fisherman and still enjoy it..
keg creek was my hunting ground, killed 100's of salmon there..
that was when snagg was the way... man good times..
that creeek changed and the run s of kingo ranchero slow to trickle now..
seemed fly wise pink was prefered color...

OMG that's funny!

Is being "slightly retarded" anything like being slightly pregnant?

Well considering one is a learned behavior (pregnant) and the other is not up to the individual at all. I'd say no and it is in poor taste to ridicule retards publically. But that's just me.....and what a woman down the street said in my ear when I said "retarded" and her husband, who has a mentally retarded brother, was in earshot.

I still to this day, try as I might, am unable to restrain myself from saying retarded in his presence.

But that doesn't mean its right.

Shame on you.
